Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "Shadows, reflections and all that sort of things #9", 1999 by Jorma Puranen was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2014, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 35,000.00 – 40,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 28,000.00 (€ 3,018.81). Admittedly, works by Jorma Puranen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Icy Prospects (No. 17) in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 13,200.00 (€ 19,588.14).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "Shadows, reflections and all that sort of things #9", 1999 von Jorma Puranen im November 2014 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 35.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 28.000,00 (€ 3.018,81) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jorma Puranen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Icy Prospects (No. 17) im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 13.200,00 (€ 19.588,14).
