Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Jordan Wolfson was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Phillips in London in October 2020. It changed hands for a price of GBP 75,600.00 (€ 83,947.35) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jordan Wolfson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in June 2021 for HKD 2,016,000.00 (€ 218,989.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jordan Wolfson wurde im Oktober 2020 in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Phillips in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 75.600,00 (€ 83.947,35) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jordan Wolfson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Juni 2021 für HKD 2.016.000,00 (€ 218.989,87) versteigert wurde.
