Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July 2019 Christies in London held the auction Old Masters Day Sale, which included the work An extensive mountainous landscape with travellers on a path by Joos de Momper. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 60,000.00 (€ 65,876.01), 20% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Joos de Momper have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Paysage d'hiver avec un moulin à vent in June 2021 with an auction result of EUR 362,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli 2019 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Masters Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit An extensive mountainous landscape with travellers on a path von Joos de Momper zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 60.000,00 (€ 65.876,01) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Joos de Momper auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Paysage d'hiver avec un moulin à vent im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 362.500,00.
