Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 22,680.00 (€ 21,287.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joos de Momper achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paysage d'hiver avec un moulin à vent in June 2021 with an auction result of EUR 362,500.00.

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 22.680,00 (€ 21.287,78) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joos de Momper erzielen.
