The price achieved of GBP 50,000.00 (€ 67,897.60) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Joos de Momper have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Paysage d'hiver avec un moulin à vent in June 2021 with an auction result of EUR 362,500.00.
