Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of EUR 3,750.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jonathan Monk achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Deflated Sculpture no. I in May last year with an auction result of USD 94,500.00 (€ 88,062.62).

Die Arbeit „Eye Pictures IV“. von Jonathan Monk kam im November 2019 bei Grisebach zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 3.750,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 4.000,00.
