Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2010 a collector was able to acquire the work Mending Nets #5 by Jonas Lie for USD 812.50 (€ 621.70). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jonas Lie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work On the Wings of the Morning in August 2020 with an auction result of USD 87,500.00 (€ 73,307.64).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2010 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Mending Nets #5 von Jonas Lie für USD 812,50 (€ 621,70) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jonas Lie erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit On the Wings of the Morning im August 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 87.500,00 (€ 73.307,64).
