This artwork by Jon Buck achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in September 2018. In the Yellow Ball: The Frank and Lorna Dunphy Collection Online auction, the work Eachway Heads sold for GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,246.26) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jon Buck - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Two men embracing, which sold at auction in July 2003 for GBP 4,700.00 (€ 6,143.22).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Jon Buck erzielte im September 2018 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Yellow Ball: The Frank and Lorna Dunphy Collection Online wurde die Arbeit Eachway Heads für GBP 2.000,00 (€ 2.246,26) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 800,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jon Buck mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Two men embracing beobachtet, die im Juli 2003 für GBP 4.700,00 (€ 6.143,22) versteigert wurde.
