Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Sculpture: Melting Point by Jon Buck was sold in the Modern British and Irish Art auction at Bonhams in London in December 2020. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 300.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 318.75 (€ 356.07). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jon Buck achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Two men embracing in July 2003 with an auction result of GBP 4,700.00 (€ 6,143.22).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Sculpture: Melting Point von Jon Buck wurde im Dezember 2020 in der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 300,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 318,75 (€ 356,07) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jon Buck erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Two men embracing im Juli 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.700,00 (€ 6.143,22).
