Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 32,251.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by John Steven Dews have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Westward Reaching Through Cowes Roads in December 2006 with an auction result of GBP 120,000.00 (€ 178,095.02).
