However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by John Steuart Curry - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Preliminary Study for a Mural: Oklahoma Land Rush, which sold at auction in May 2003 for USD 175,500.00 (€ 149,158.59).
