Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 300,000.00 – 500,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 337,500.00 (€ 395,788.73) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by John Robert Cozens have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Lake Of Albano And Castel Gandolfo in July 2010 with an auction result of GBP 2,393,250.00 (€ 2,877,613.47).
