Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2006 a collector was able to acquire the work Study of Drapery by John Napper for GBP 360.00 (€ 527.00). This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century British Art including The Studio of Humphrey Jennings at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Napper achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Autobus in October 2012 with an auction result of GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,905.79).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2006 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Study of Drapery von John Napper für GBP 360,00 (€ 527,00) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th Century British Art including The Studio of Humphrey Jennings bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 400,00 – 600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von John Napper erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Autobus im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.750,00 (€ 5.905,79).
