In June 2004 Christies in London held the auction Sporting Art and Dogs, which included the work Setters with the day's bag by John Morris. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 4,541.00 (€ 6,758.37), 30% above the upper estimate. Other works by John Morris have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 9,560.00 (€ 8,902.13) in January 2003 for the work Waiting for Master.

Im Juni 2004 führte Christies in London die Auktion Sporting Art and Dogs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Setters with the day's bag von John Morris zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 4.541,00 (€ 6.758,37) und damit 30% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von John Morris haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 9.560,00 (€ 8.902,13) im Januar 2003 für die Arbeit Waiting for Master beobachtet.
