Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Setters with the day's bag by John Morris was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in December 2012. The price achieved of EUR 2,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by John Morris - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Waiting for Master, which sold at auction in January 2003 for USD 9,560.00 (€ 8,902.13).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden.
