In the British and Continental Pictures and Works on Paper auction, the work Harvest time sold for GBP 763.75 (€ 1,169.77) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 400.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Moore of Ipswich achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A trading brig in a heavy swell running down the coast in May 2000 with an auction result of GBP 8,225.00 (€ 13,198.09).
