Auction result well in line with expectations
In October last year Bonhams in Edinburgh held the auction Scottish Art, which included the work Storm at Easdale, Argyll (2003) by John Lowrie Morrison. The price achieved of GBP 4,462.50 (€ 5,198.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Other works by John Lowrie Morrison have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2021 the work High Summer at the Moorings, Isle of Iona was auctioned for GBP 7,650.00 (€ 8,900.95).

Im Oktober letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in Edinburgh die Auktion Scottish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Storm at Easdale, Argyll (2003) von John Lowrie Morrison zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.462,50 (€ 5.198,76) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden.
