Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A timber wagon at the ford (illustrated); and Loading timber by John Keeley was sold in the British and Continental Watercolours including Original Book auction at Christies in London in December 2004. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 501.90 (€ 710.33). Other works by John Keeley have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 840.00 (€ 1,267.37) in January 2007 for the work Collecting the hay (illustrated); and Bridge over the Cole.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A timber wagon at the ford (illustrated); and Loading timber von John Keeley wurde im Dezember 2004 in der Auktion British and Continental Watercolours including Original Book bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 501,90 (€ 710,33) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von John Keeley haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 840,00 (€ 1.267,37) im Januar 2007 für die Arbeit Collecting the hay (illustrated); and Bridge over the Cole beobachtet.
