Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Study by John Kacere was auctioned at Christies in Los Angeles in June 2000. The price achieved of USD 3,290.00 (€ 3,446.83) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Kacere achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lorena in May 2012 with an auction result of GBP 85,250.00 (€ 106,217.75).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.290,00 (€ 3.446,83) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von John Kacere erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lorena im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 85.250,00 (€ 106.217,75).
