In March 2021 Christies in New York held the auction First Open, which included the work Kristina by John Kacere. The »bidding war« ended at USD 47,500.00 (€ 40,449.63), 36% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by John Kacere - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Lorena, which sold at auction in May 2012 for GBP 85,250.00 (€ 106,217.75).

Im März 2021 führte Christies in New York die Auktion First Open durch, in der auch die Arbeit Kristina von John Kacere zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 47.500,00 (€ 40.449,63) und damit 36% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von John Kacere mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Lorena beobachtet, die im Mai 2012 für GBP 85.250,00 (€ 106.217,75) versteigert wurde.
