Auction result well in line with expectations
The work "Composition" by John Jon-And was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 25,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 26,000.00 (€ 2,463.38) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Jon-And achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Slussen" (The lock, Trollhättan) in October 2012 with an auction result of SEK 480,000.00 (€ 55,823.43).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit "Composition" von John Jon-And kam im November 2019 bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 25.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von SEK 26.000,00 (€ 2.463,38) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von John Jon-And erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Slussen" (The lock, Trollhättan) im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 480.000,00 (€ 55.823,43).
