Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by John Jon-And could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in May last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern Art + Design auction, the work Houses by the coast changed hands for SEK 52,000.00 (€ 4,962.07) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Jon-And achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Slussen" (The lock, Trollhättan) in October 2012 with an auction result of SEK 480,000.00 (€ 55,823.43).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von John Jon-And konnte im Mai letzten Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern Art + Design wechselte die Arbeit Houses by the coast für SEK 52.000,00 (€ 4.962,07) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von John Jon-And erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Slussen" (The lock, Trollhättan) im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 480.000,00 (€ 55.823,43).
