A top price for John Henry Dell - as previously expected
The work Milking time by John Henry Dell was sold in the BRITISH AND VICTORIAN PICTURES auction at Christies in London in November 2003. The price achieved of GBP 3,525.00 (€ 5,060.19) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Milking time is the most expensive artwork by John Henry Dell that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Milking time von John Henry Dell wurde im November 2003 in der Auktion BRITISH AND VICTORIAN PICTURES bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.525,00 (€ 5.060,19) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Milking time das teuerste Kunstwerk von John Henry Dell, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
