Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work Autumn landscape by John Francis Murphy for USD 2,880.00 (€ 2,100.50). This price was achieved in the auction The House Sale at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Francis Murphy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work An Autumn Afternoon in June 2000 with an auction result of USD 28,200.00 (€ 29,544.26).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
