Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 7 Mouths by John Finneran was auctioned at Christies in New York in April 2018. The price achieved of USD 1,500.00 (€ 1,242.34) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by John Finneran have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 3 Mouths, 3 Trash Cans in September 2015 with an auction result of USD 10,625.00 (€ 9,518.90).

Die Arbeit 7 Mouths von John Finneran kam im April 2018 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.500,00 (€ 1.242,34) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.000,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von John Finneran auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 3 Mouths, 3 Trash Cans im September 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 10.625,00 (€ 9.518,90).
