Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by John Dugdale achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in October this year. In the Photographs auction, the work 'Palazzo Doria (Hall of Antiquities), Rome' sold for USD 4,480.00 (€ 4,239.21) - well above the upper estimate of USD 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by John Dugdale - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 'Self-Portrait In Rondout Creek', which sold at auction in October 2016 for USD 11,250.00 (€ 10,262.73).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von John Dugdale erzielte im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Photographs wurde die Arbeit 'Palazzo Doria (Hall of Antiquities), Rome' für USD 4.480,00 (€ 4.239,21) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 2.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von John Dugdale mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit 'Self-Portrait In Rondout Creek' beobachtet, die im Oktober 2016 für USD 11.250,00 (€ 10.262,73) versteigert wurde.
