Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,250.00 (€ 4,142.58) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by John Davies have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in July 2008 the work Brown Painted Head was auctioned for GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,940.70).
