Auction result misses estimated price range
In February 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work Study for The Message; Untitled 1; Untitled 2 by John Civitello for GBP 250.00 (€ 298.51). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by John Civitello - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Glayre, which sold at auction in September 2011 for GBP 800.00 (€ 929.38).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Februar 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Study for The Message; Untitled 1; Untitled 2 von John Civitello für GBP 250,00 (€ 298,51) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00. Für andere Arbeiten von John Civitello mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Glayre beobachtet, die im September 2011 für GBP 800,00 (€ 929,38) versteigert wurde.
