A top price for John Civitello - as previously expected
The work Glayre by John Civitello was auctioned at Christies in London in September 2011. The result of GBP 800.00 (€ 929.38) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Glayre is the most expensive artwork by John Civitello that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Glayre von John Civitello kam im September 2011 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 800,00 (€ 929,38) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Glayre das teuerste Kunstwerk von John Civitello, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
