In September 2011 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Cupel by John Civitello. The result of GBP 600.00 (€ 697.03) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Other works by John Civitello have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September 2011 the work Glayre was auctioned for GBP 800.00 (€ 929.38).

Im September 2011 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cupel von John Civitello zur Versteigerung kam.
