Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Sans Titre by John Christoforou was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in March 2011. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,275.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Christoforou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Panique, 1973 in June 2009 with an auction result of EUR 15,990.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Sans Titre von John Christoforou kam im März 2011 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.275,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von John Christoforou erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Panique, 1973 im Juni 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 15.990,00.
