The work Sans Titre - 1984 by John Christoforou was sold in the Winter Sale I auction at Artcurial in Paris in January last year. It achieved a price of EUR 650.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 30 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Christoforou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Panique, 1973 in June 2009 with an auction result of EUR 15,990.00.

Die Arbeit Sans Titre - 1984 von John Christoforou wurde im Januar letzten Jahres in der Auktion Winter Sale I bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 650,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 30 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von John Christoforou erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Panique, 1973 im Juni 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 15.990,00.
