Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2013 Sothebys in London held the auction British & Irish Art, which included the work Tigers; Jaguars by John Charles Dollman. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 9,025.25) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Charles Dollman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lord Rosebery, Admiral Fleming, The Duke Of Buccleuch And Lord Charles Hope With Their Respective Caddies At North Berwick in August 2008 with an auction result of GBP 205,250.00 (€ 254,516.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2013 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion British & Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tigers; Jaguars von John Charles Dollman zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 9.025,25) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von John Charles Dollman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lord Rosebery, Admiral Fleming, The Duke Of Buccleuch And Lord Charles Hope With Their Respective Caddies At North Berwick im August 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 205.250,00 (€ 254.516,16).
