Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2011 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work In the desert by John Charles Dollman. The price achieved of GBP 1,062.50 (€ 1,272.49) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Charles Dollman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lord Rosebery, Admiral Fleming, The Duke Of Buccleuch And Lord Charles Hope With Their Respective Caddies At North Berwick in August 2008 with an auction result of GBP 205,250.00 (€ 254,516.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2011 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit In the desert von John Charles Dollman zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.062,50 (€ 1.272,49) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von John Charles Dollman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lord Rosebery, Admiral Fleming, The Duke Of Buccleuch And Lord Charles Hope With Their Respective Caddies At North Berwick im August 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 205.250,00 (€ 254.516,16).
