Auction result well in line with expectations
The work (Untitled) Abstract With Trees by Tony Tuckson was sold in the AUSTRALIAN, INTERNATIONAL AND CONTEMPORARY PAINTINGS auction at Christies in Melbourne in May 2004. The price achieved of AUD 3,346.00 (€ 1,954.96) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 2,800.00 – 3,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tony Tuckson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Red, Black And White) in March 2006 with an auction result of AUD 89,625.00 (€ 52,900.83).

Die Arbeit (Untitled) Abstract With Trees von Tony Tuckson wurde im Mai 2004 in der Auktion AUSTRALIAN, INTERNATIONAL AND CONTEMPORARY PAINTINGS bei Christies in Melbourne versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 3.346,00 (€ 1.954,96) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 2.800,00 – 3.800,00 angegeben worden.
