In the PAINTINGS FROM THE JOSEPH BROWN COLLECTION auction, the work 1976 No. 12 sold for AUD 16,730.00 (€ 10,284.03) - well above the upper estimate of AUD 9,000.00. Admittedly, works by Tony Tuckson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Red, Black And White) in March 2006 with an auction result of AUD 89,625.00 (€ 52,900.83).
