This artwork by John Anthony Park achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in July this year. In the British and European Art auction, the work St. Ives Harbour sold for GBP 5,376.00 (€ 6,272.16) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by John Anthony Park have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work St Ives in November 2017 with an auction result of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 31,216.59).

In der Auktion British and European Art wurde die Arbeit St. Ives Harbour für GBP 5.376,00 (€ 6.272,16) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von John Anthony Park auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit St Ives im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 31.216,59).
