Auction result well in line with expectations
In November this year Bonhams in London held the auction British and European Art, which included the work 'A Grey Day, Santa Margherita' by John Anthony Park. The price achieved of GBP 3,584.00 (€ 4,153.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by John Anthony Park have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work St Ives in November 2017 with an auction result of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 31,216.59).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion British and European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit 'A Grey Day, Santa Margherita' von John Anthony Park zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.584,00 (€ 4.153,08) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von John Anthony Park auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit St Ives im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 31.216,59).
