It achieved a price of GBP 384.00 (€ 566.28), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 28%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Arthur Malcolm Aldridge achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Olive Trees in December 2012 with an auction result of GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,858.07).

Die Arbeit Wymondham; and nine further works by the same hand von John Arthur Malcolm Aldridge kam im Oktober 2005 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 384,00 (€ 566,28) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 28%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von John Arthur Malcolm Aldridge erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Olive Trees im Dezember 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.750,00 (€ 5.858,07).
