Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Ohne Titel (Dead in 1979) by Johannes Wohnseifer was auctioned at Sothebys in Cologne in November 2021. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 5,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 5,670.00. Admittedly, works by Johannes Wohnseifer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Beyoncé Painting (RAL 8003 - Lehmbraun) in November 2009 with an auction result of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 25,991.31).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Ohne Titel (Dead in 1979) von Johannes Wohnseifer kam im November 2021 bei Sothebys in Köln zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 5.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 5.670,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Johannes Wohnseifer auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Beyoncé Painting (RAL 8003 - Lehmbraun) im November 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 23.750,00 (€ 25.991,31).
