A top price for Johannes Jelgerhuis
In September 2017 Lempertz in Cologne held the auction Gemälde 15.-19. Jh., which included the work Am Waschtrog by Johannes Jelgerhuis. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 4,960.00 65% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Am Waschtrog the most expensive artwork by Johannes Jelgerhuis that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Johannes Jelgerhuis
Im September 2017 führte Lempertz in Köln die Auktion Gemälde 15.-19. Jh. durch, in der auch die Arbeit Am Waschtrog von Johannes Jelgerhuis zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 4.960,00 und damit 65% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieses hohe Ergebnis macht Am Waschtrog zu dem teuersten Kunstwerk von Johannes Jelgerhuis, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
