In the 19th Century European Art Including Orientalist Art auction, the work Feeding time sold for GBP 2,375.00 (€ 2,980.20) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jan Mari ten Kate - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Departure Of The Fishing Fleet, Volendam, which sold at auction in April 2007 for EUR 10,800.00.
