Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In February 2012 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work Waiting for the catch by Jan Mari ten Kate. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,625.00 (€ 1,940.29). Admittedly, works by Jan Mari ten Kate have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Departure Of The Fishing Fleet, Volendam in April 2007 with an auction result of EUR 10,800.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Februar 2012 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Waiting for the catch von Jan Mari ten Kate zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.625,00 (€ 1.940,29) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jan Mari ten Kate auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Departure Of The Fishing Fleet, Volendam im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 10.800,00.
