In December 2009 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Old Master & 19th Century Paintings, 19th Century Sculptures, which included the work Paysages Animés De Personnages by Johann Jakob Hartmann. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 33,997.00 70% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Johann Jakob Hartmann - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape With The Conversion Of St. Paul; Landscape With St. John The Baptist Preaching, which sold at auction in February 2013 for USD 164,500.00 (€ 125,774.14).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 70 % übertroffen
Im Dezember 2009 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Old Master & 19th Century Paintings, 19th Century Sculptures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Paysages Animés De Personnages von Johann Jakob Hartmann zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 33.997,00 und damit 70% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Johann Jakob Hartmann mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscape With The Conversion Of St. Paul; Landscape With St. John The Baptist Preaching beobachtet, die im Februar 2013 für USD 164.500,00 (€ 125.774,14) versteigert wurde.
