Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2016 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Masters & 19th Century Art - including Dutch Impressionism, which included the work Repairing the vessel in the dunes by Johannes Hermanus Barend Koekkoek. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 8,125.00 16% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Johannes Hermanus Barend Koekkoek achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bringing In The Catch in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 90,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2016 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Masters & 19th Century Art - including Dutch Impressionism durch, in der auch die Arbeit Repairing the vessel in the dunes von Johannes Hermanus Barend Koekkoek zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 8.125,00 und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Johannes Hermanus Barend Koekkoek erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bringing In The Catch im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 90.000,00.
