Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Masters Evening Sale, which included the work Still Life Of Tulips And Other Flowers In A Basket, With Shells And Fruit On A Stone Ledge by Johannes Bosschaert. It changed hands for a price of GBP 187,500.00 (€ 221,603.06) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 150,000.00 – 200,000.00. Other works by Johannes Bosschaert have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May this year the work Blumen in einer Vase was auctioned for EUR 226,800.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Masters Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still Life Of Tulips And Other Flowers In A Basket, With Shells And Fruit On A Stone Ledge von Johannes Bosschaert zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 187.500,00 (€ 221.603,06) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 150.000,00 – 200.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Johannes Bosschaert konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai diesen Jahres die Arbeit Blumen in einer Vase für EUR 226.800,00 versteigert.
