Die Arbeit Walking home in winter von Johann Jungblut kam im Dezember 2003 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 2.987,50 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 36 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Johann Jungblut auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A winter landscape at dusk with figures fishing on the ice im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 40.957,00 (€ 19.658,01).
