Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2006 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Clocks, Furniture and Works of Art from the Venema Collection, which included the work The colourful sunset in winter by Johann Jungblut. The price achieved of EUR 4,200.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Johann Jungblut have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A winter landscape at dusk with figures fishing on the ice in October 2000 with an auction result of NLG 40,957.00 (€ 19,658.01).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2006 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Clocks, Furniture and Works of Art from the Venema Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit The colourful sunset in winter von Johann Jungblut zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 4.200,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Johann Jungblut auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A winter landscape at dusk with figures fishing on the ice im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 40.957,00 (€ 19.658,01).
