This artwork by Johann Jakob Hauswirth achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Zurich in October 2017. In the Swiss Art auction, the work Bouquet de fleurs, 1859 sold for CHF 42,500.00 (€ 36,603.71) - well above the upper estimate of CHF 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Johann Jakob Hauswirth have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Montée à l'alpage, 1869 in December 2016 with an auction result of CHF 192,000.00 (€ 179,081.12).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Johann Jakob Hauswirth erzielte im Oktober 2017 bei Christies in Zürich einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Swiss Art wurde die Arbeit Bouquet de fleurs, 1859 für CHF 42.500,00 (€ 36.603,71) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von CHF 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Johann Jakob Hauswirth auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Montée à l'alpage, 1869 im Dezember 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 192.000,00 (€ 179.081,12).
