This artwork by Johann Jakob Hauswirth achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Zurich in October 2017. In the Swiss Art auction, the work Montée à l'alpage, 1857 sold for CHF 35,000.00 (€ 30,144.23) - well above the upper estimate of CHF 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Johann Jakob Hauswirth have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Montée à l'alpage, 1869 in December 2016 with an auction result of CHF 192,000.00 (€ 179,081.12).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Johann Jakob Hauswirth erzielte im Oktober 2017 bei Christies in Zürich einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Swiss Art wurde die Arbeit Montée à l'alpage, 1857 für CHF 35.000,00 (€ 30.144,23) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von CHF 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Johann Jakob Hauswirth auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Montée à l'alpage, 1869 im Dezember 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 192.000,00 (€ 179.081,12).
